| The goal of the feathered trapping is to minimize the visual impact of the trap by blurring the edge of the trap, but keeping the edge of the original object sharp. StudioRIP allows the user to adjust the sharpness with a continuous setting, from perfectly sharp to completely blurred.
On the left are sharp traps, in the middle half blurred traps, and on the right completely blurred traps.
